Alia Shawkat, born April 18, 1989 in Riverside California (United States), is one of Television's most successful and well-known actresses. Maeby Funke in the Fox show Arrested Development. This role brought her the TV Land Future Classic Award. She was in Whip It along with Ellen Page. Shawkat played Hannah the character from State of Grace between 2001 and 2004. Shawkat, as Maeby Funke Shawkat, was part of the cast on Arrested Development throughout the run of the series from 2003-2018. Shawkat was recognized by her character on occasions. Shawkat Har Mar along with Whip It's co-star Ellen Page announced in October 2009 that they would write and produce a HBO show called Stitch N Bitch.
